**Weird**
Something funny happened when I was going to my tutee house from school, on bus 198 just now... There was this weird China middle-aged guy who kept talking to himself... The bus was loaded with people, really over-brimming that kind... I was carrying two thick books in my arms and then suddenly that man waved his hand in front of my face and said, "小姐, 你要坐吗?" Apparently, there was a seat behind but I was like 3 persons away... So I shook my head... Guess what? He mumbled, "你不坐我坐..." Then, he told the auntie beside him, "心理不平衡啊, 拿这么多书不会重啊?" *Pengz* I think he is a bit crazy...

**Grinz**
My heart is experiencing euphoria... Heehee...
Anyway, going for a final round of shopping with Linzie next Tuesday!!! Wahaha... Then going back to NUS for Netball Recrea with Shao... Will be a very good day and maybe a bad one depending on how much I am going to spend... Hehe... Die... Already spent 170 on the shelves and cupboards le... Shall try and control... Heehee... Birthdays coming up in August, October and November! Must be determined to save money... School's starting to feel a little hectic mainly due to the organic lecturer giving stress by assuming we know every little detail of last sem's module... "You should know this even in your dreams...", "You should know this at the back of your hand by now...", "You should be able to recall it even in your sleep...", "You all know this right? I won't be going through again since I expect you to know this already..." And I lost count of how many times he said, "You all know this right?" *Pengz* Haunting statements that he keep repeating... And that 2102 lecturer... Amazing man... He can actually start teaching with only the shortest introduction and ended late somemore... And I get this feeling he thinks it is boring to teach us cos he seems to be sleep-talking when he gave his lecture... Like those droning monotonous voice you get from people when they think it is stupid and boring to repeat something for the 10 thousandth time... Then 2101, she's cute and all that but sometimes I just lose track of what she is trying to explain... So many not very familiar terms... Gek 1006 is the only lecture so far that don't really need much brains to go and understand... Just sort of common sense and a lot of "how you are feeling" kind of thingy... Heehee... First JS 2228 lecture tomorrow... Hope it is good... I cannot stand boring lecturers the most... At least if you are interesting, I find the motivation to try and understand what you are saying... But then, if you are boring... Well...
Finally got a call from Nokia telling me that my phone is ready for collection... Seems like they went ahead with repairing my phone without calling me to give me the quotation for repairs... So 贱! And they probably called me because I sent a complaint cum feedback to them about their service... Hehe...
Okie... I shall go to bed now... Looking forward to a great weekend and the last week of more free time...

***Start Of School***
Well, school started on Monday... Going to join Netball and ABT, an aerobic course that shapes and tones your Abs, Butt and Thighs at only 20 bucks for 10 lessons! Something new... Hopefully after joining these activities, I can find new vigour and reason to go to school... :) Schedule's falling into place... Starting September I will be more organized... Monday - ABT if I manage to get a space, Tuesday - Netball recrea, Wednesday or Thursday - Running with Qinning if she can, Friday - Rest, Saturday - For Dear, Sunday - Study... Hehe... Of course I am planning to do revision and homework whenever I have time along the week... Hopefully, I can stick to this plan resolutely... Then, maybe I will get my wish... Have to quickly revise 1121, 1101 these 2 weeks though... *Sighz* Can die... 4 more weeks to a test... Yucks... The whole of last sem's module! Hmm... Many textbooks and notes to buy and print... Troublesome... And seriously costly... Meanwhile, busy, busy... Have to revise Maths C for my tutee, P2 kid still have 5 more lessons to go... Will probably go crazy once tutorials and practicals starts... 7 hours in the lab! Stink like hell... Haven't finish my thriller and classic... But I think no chance now... Bought new shelves and a cupboard to store all my stuff and throwing out the black table and a stack of drawers... Heehee... Going to be weekend soon... Yay! *Grinz*

**Woohoo!**
Really breath-taking fireworks yesterday night... :) The non-stop explosion of colours against the scenic backdrop of the river and the complementary city night lights induces a kind of dreamy, unrealistic romantic feeling... *Sighz* I'm falling in love once over again... *Bish* Wake up! Haha... The France team was great! First, there was this explosion of bright apple green stars while gold water splashed across the sky, followed by golden sparks trailed by green coloured dust below them... Then, a series of red and gold rockets took off and burst into many long-lasting gleaming flowers, while a continuous stream of pinkish red balls bounced off on the water below... Next came the second best view of the night... There were a few intermingling large circles of glittering rose red diamonds and while they were still scintillating, fine splashes of gold appeared as if someone was throwing out gold dust and then just when you thought they were disappearing, these splashes of gold suddenly flamed out into more concentrated bigger circles!! This continued for about 2 minutes or so and the multi-coloured fireworks were released and polka dots of 3 colours dotted the sky in circles of different sizes, with each circle transiting into single colored glitter balls... Went red initially, then the second round they turned green, then the last light blue... Another 2 minutes of this and the fun shifted onto the water where they did stunts with the fireworks... It was as though the water turned gold and came to life... Then there were those humongous gold ones that exploded in the night sky but seemed to rain down on us and shower us with sparkling red dust... Lastly, the best of the fireworks was when everything went crazy and lots and lots of bright gold sparklers and glitter and stars and diamonds and everything shining that you can think of scattered and lit the whole black canvas! Simply dazzling... The sky and the water were both brilliant, luminated by the spectacular fireworks... It was really amazing... Heez... Captured the 12 minutes long show on my digital camera because I decided I am not an expert at taking photographs especially without any sophisticated equipment... Dear recorded the New Caledonia one on his digital camera on Friday so the only missing one was the Singapore team... (>.<) The New Caledonia one was good too though I only got to watch it on record... Had tuition that day... Thanks to Dear who found a good place to watch the fireworks unblocked by anything and from that spot the fireworks were really very close to us... :) So much for fireworks...

***Damn!**
Biangz! My phone broke down! Grrr... Had to bring it to the much dreaded NOKIA service centre at Causeway point to fix it... Haiz... Now my phone will be stuck there for probably 3 weeks... Well, that was what happened the last time I left it there for servicing... But this time round it is different... I got to pay!! Out of warranty already... Right now, they can't even tell me what the hell is the problem, how much it will cost and how long it will take to give me back my phone!!!!! Bloody hell... I was silent for 5 seconds while staring at the customer service officer... It's like, man! You mean you can't even tell me a rough gauge of when the phone is coming back to me?! Then, I told her I won't appreciate it at all if my phone is withheld for too long and I wanted the problem to be resolved immediately before even calling me down to take it back... Finally I got her to promise she will get the technician to check and call me in 2 days to tell me the problem and the quotation for repairs... Well, I know I am just being mean but they, meaning NOKIA Care, really angered me when I last sent the phone for repairs... I will write another complain letter to NOKIA again... Because I feel that it is so unfair to me... She said I got to pay 26.5o if I reject repairing my phone... I mean, come on man... I have to pay even though I don't want to repair my phone? Which means I don't have a right to not pay for a higher service fee if I let you repair my phone? How would I know if you are charging exorbitant prices for the servicing which maybe my phone doesn't even need? That is so bloody unfair... NOKIA Care is really just shit... Bad service, in terms of those customer officers who weren't helpful, giving you the shitty look, the long waiting time at the centre and the long servicing period... I can tell you they definitely don't qualify for GEMS... Talk about excellent service...
Anyway, enough about that... Make me irritated... School is starting in 3 days somemore...
Hope to go East Coast with Dear tomorrow so that he can teach me cycling... If the weather's good of course... Then, we can pop by Parkway Parade though we are not very keen to do so because there'll be activities held there tomorrow... And the last of fieworks tomorrow at Marina! France team will present the Romance theme tomorrow night... *Grinz* We will be going earlier to occupy a good spot... Camera charging tonight! :)

**Psychotic**
Okie, so we didn't go and watch the Singapore fireworks because Dear was too tired after his 10 km run today... But we watched a super psychotic movie called "Hard Candy" at JEC... The show is M18 and as usual got checked again... How many times will this happen until I really look old enough? Anyway, the movie was too disturbing for me to discuss here and to do any reviews except to give a piece of advice: Don't watch it if you are easily disturbed. I am going to get nightmares today.
Had dinner at Zingdo, a small place where they serve Korean food... Had this hotplate thingy in which the ingredients are raw and they actually help you stir-fry it on the hotplate right in front of you! The hotplate actually sizzles for about as long as 15 minutes... Cool right? Hehe... Okie, maybe I just tried this for the first time today as I don't usually take Korean food which is mostly spicy... There is a food festival at JEC but I think it is the one that just ended in West Mall just about 2 weeks ago... Bought the sweet and crunchy peanut popiah... Yummy... :) Oh no, haven't had the chance to go running this whole week... Think I'll run tomorrow... And on Friday... Going back to the skin doctor this Friday morning... She was not in today so my mom and I made a wasted trip...
Alrighty! Have to sleep now! School is starting next week and I still have 2 super-hard-to-bid modules to take care of... (>.<) Wish I can get them at 1 point each! Like, dream on...

**Stunned**
My ex-colleague called me just now and asked me if I want to teach her son JC C Maths together with her daughter's Sec 1 Maths... Cos I am currently teaching her daughter, then now she wants me to teach her son as well... But I don't know if I am up to it! I told her so but she says she wants me to try... Hmm... It is a really good deal actually... Cos I'll be teaching them on the same day either one after the other for 3 hours continuously or 2 hours concurrently... So in effect I have two tutees but time is saved! And more money earned too... Hehe... *Grinz*
I packed my cupboards today... The clothes cupboard and the 2 book cupboards... Now I am left with my study table... Probably do it on Wednesday... Pay's coming in this week! Tuition fees and my last payment from Recruit Express! Yay! (^.^) I'll save all of it though... Hmm... Finally decided it is time to save... :p Haha... I am so horrible right... Okie... I will be good and keep my earnings! Happy happy!!
Have to go back to the skin doctor for treatment of my scars soon... I am very glad that my acne's cleared up! Yay! I didn't even realise till after I started working... Then, one day, my mom commented that I don't have new pimples anymore and that my face is getting better... :) It was only then I realised... *Sigh* At least it was money well-spent! Going to have to spend somemore though...
National day is really coming!! How I wish I can go to the NDP! Nevermind... Whereever they are holding it next year, I will try and get tickets... Heehee... Went to the market with my mom near afternoon time and bought MOCHI icecream... Nice! I bought a box of 15 with 4 flavours... Blueberry, peach yoghurt, mango yoghurt and mint! Yummy! There's another box of 4 flavours - Yam, lychee, black sesame and something I cannot remember... So I shall try that next after finishing this box... X) Meeting Dear tomorrow again and we will most probably be going to the Fireworks Festival again! Team Singapore is on tomorrow!!!! I'll remember my camera this time round... Yay!!
I am in an excited mode... :) Going off to teach tuition now...

***Beautiful Italian fireworks!!**
Was at Esplanade area yesterday to watch the opening of the fireworks festival!! The Italian team was the first to present their fireworks... It was really spectacular... We went there a little too late to find a good place to watch from though... Hehe... And that was like 15 minutes before time... The place was flooded with people! And some very annoying ones at that... Have to go there half an hour earlier next Saturday for team France so as to find a really good spot! Heehee... So anyway, was blocked a little by some trees but can still see most of it... Just not the small stunts they performed with the fireworks near the land... Generally, we could see all those higher above in the sky...BUT, the saddest thing was I actually forgot to bring my camera!!!!! (>.<) So I just managed to capture a video with my phone... Thank goodness my phone has a video recording function! The recording was not bad... Anyway, shall make a note to bring my camera next Saturday... This coming Tuesday, team Singapore is on! And guess what we heard after the fireworks performance yesterday? There was this bitch who said, " Singapore 的一定不好看lor! Standard 哪里有这样好?! Surely lousy one la!" Come on, you are a Singaporean ok? You are a Singaporean from your speech and behaviour! Condemning us before seeing it for yourself? That's really sick... And apparently, one group of girls heard what she said and replied loudly, " I think Singapore 的一定最好看,”。"Ya lor, ya lor!!" exclaimed the other girls while pointedly staring at the sinner... And so, the sinner became decidedly and rightly ashamed of herself and walked away with her head down... *Clap! Clap! Clap!* We should really be proud of Singapore for the fact that it has really come very far... Watch the documentary showing on Channel News Asia people! The Discovery of Singapore... :)
Went Marina Square after the fireworks to let the crowd go home first... Hehe... But, we were met by a distasteful sight... :( There was loads of rubbish on the floor outside the mall facing esplanade... You know the many flight of stairs where many people like to sit? Yup, that area... Sighz... So sad... Recall that there was strong gusts of wind yesterday night and the newspapers, empty plastic bags caught the wind and began spiralling high up in the air just like they were drawn in a tornado! I'm serious! Then, of course, they got in the way of unsuspecting people, especially those tall ones, walking towards the mall and they started to get excited and giggled uncontrollably while trying to escape from the tangles... Dear and I went to TIMES bookshop and I bought 3 books yesterday and is their member now... Cos there was a 20% discount for members only yesterday and the membership was just $10 a year so Dear and I decided to join the membership and to enjoy the 20% for members instantly! Now I have 3 new books to immerse myself in before hectic school life begins next week... :) Bought a red lacy top from TOPSHOP yesterday as well... Last minute grab... Haha... It is a nice design... But, I am surprised at myself... Red and lacy? Ok, must clarify that the lace is just on the front, forming the V-neck... Doesn't look like what I will buy usually but I guess I was suddenly adventurous yesterday and the bright red just caught my eye...
Dear has got guard duty on National Day! National day! Haiz! That's very sad... Oh well...

11 more days before school starts... Bidding is going on fairly well and I have 2 more modules left to bid... Gek 1006 and MKT 1003 or SC2215... Hopefully everything goes well... Especially all 3 modules have high cut off points the previous few semesters!! And I have to bid for the 2 of them using the same account... Pray and cross my fingers...
Finally found a secondary level tutee who only needs tuition once a week... And so much nearer to me... Hehe... Anyway, going to Mei's house for dinner tonight... But the sky is so dark now... Wanted to go West Mall to borrow some books 的... If it starts to rain then I won't be able to go out... And Qinning is coming over at 4 plus later... We are supposed to go running... So I hope it rains now and stop later at 3 pm just like it did on Monday...
Yay! I washed my little piglet just now... It was so dirty and looked so comical in the water... Looks as though it was floating around in muddy water... Don't think it will get dry so soon from the looks of the greyish sky outside my window... The big piggy have to go to the laundry shop... No idea how to wash it... Hmm... Shall bring it there within these few days... It is seriously getting more and more piggish... Pink become dirty pink... (>.<)
National day is coming!! Shall probably hole up at home with Dear to watch the parade or we will travel to some place to see the fireworks... Maybe to Sheare's bridge... Nice view from there recommended by the News crew...Haiz! I wana read some books and some recipes... Cooking is an enjoyable thing to do... At least to me... Yummilicious!
